CMITI Seminar & Lab Policies
Registration & Payment
To secure your place in a CMITI seminar or lab, please register and submit payment in advance. Early registration allows us to provide the highest quality experience for all attendees.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your payment has been processed.
- Walk-ins: Same-day registrations are accepted only as space allows.
- Discounts: Special rates (e.g., “Early Bird”) are valid until the announced deadline. After this date, standard pricing applies to all registrants.
Attendance Guidelines
- Attendance at live online seminars is required. Exceptions are made on an individual basis.
- Partial Attendance: Partial attendance at seminars is strongly discouraged. No partial refunds or credits will be issued for missed portions of a session.
- Special Circumstances: Students with special needs or those with extenuating circumstances may petition the CMITI administration for a policy exception.
Refund & Transfer Policy
Cancellations
- By CMITI: If we cancel a seminar or lab, you will receive a full refund.
- Inclement Weather: If an in-person event is rescheduled due to weather and you cannot attend the makeup date, your full fee may be transferred to another seminar or lab.
Withdrawals Prior to Commencement
- 15+ Days Notice: If you withdraw more than 15 days before the event, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another event within six months (less a $25 administrative fee).
- Within 15 Days: If you withdraw within 15 days of the start date, your fee (less a $25 administrative fee) may be transferred to another event held within six months. No refunds are issued for withdrawals in this window.
Withdrawals After Commencement, Classes 1 & 2
- If you withdraw after attending the first or second class, you may request a credit for the remaining tuition to be applied toward another CMITI seminar or lab offered within six months.
The credit will be calculated by deducting:- the pro-rated tution for classes attended
- a $25 administrative fee.
- applicable PayPal transaction or payment processing fees.
Withdrawals After Commencement, Class 3
- No credits or refunds will be issued once the third class has begun.
